[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월 3일부터 2월 28일까지 가평군농업기술센터는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 관내 농업인 1,500명을 대상으로 ‘온라인 새해농업인 실용교육’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

새해농업인 실용교육은 관내 농업인 소득향상을 위해 매년 실시하는 교육으로써 전년도에 이어 교육 동영상으로 콘텐츠를 제작해 농촌진흥청 농촌인적자원개발센터 내 지역특화과정 가평군농업기술센터 사이트를 활용해 게시하고, 사이트 접속은 가평군농업기술센터 홈페이지에서 팝업창의 바로가기로도 가능하다고 했다. 

교육은 친환경벼농사, 사과, 포도, 한우, 유용미생물, 고추, 치유농업, 한봉, 친환경인증, 농업기계 총 10개 과정으로 진행되며, 원활한 교육을 위해 공익직불제도, 탄소중립 실천운동, 고농도 미세먼지 대응 행동요령, 군정홍보자료 등 유익한 내용을 교재로 제작해 농가에 배부할 계획이고, 또한 상황에 따라 온라인 수강이 어려운 경우, 읍면 농업인 상담소에 모니터를 설치, 교육을 시청할 수 있도록 여건을 마련할 예정이라고 전했다.

농업기술센터 관계자는 “새해농업인 실용교육이 한해 농사 설계에 시작이 되는 만큼 농업인들에게 실직적인 도움이 될 수 있기를 바라며, 센터는 농업 여건의 변화에 대응해 지역 농업경쟁력을 강화할 수 있도록 계속해서 노력해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
