[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4월 6일, 가평클린농업대학은 농업기술센터 대강당에서 제16회 신입생 94명으로 입학식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

입학식은 코로나19 방역수칙 준수를 위해 내빈초청을 제한하고 교육장 책상 칸막이 설치, 체온측정 등 농업인들이 안전하게 교육을 받을 수 있도록 철저히 준비하였다고 했다.

가평클린농업대학은 1년 과정으로 농업인과 주민을 위한 전문교육기관으로 친환경귀농귀촌과, 농촌관광과, 농식품학과 3개학과에 94명의 교육생을 선발, 주 1회 4시간씩 120시간 이상의 전공, 교양, 현장학습을 통해 이수하게 된다고 전했다.

특히 도시민들이 가평군으로의 귀농귀촌을 활성화 하기 위하여 친환경귀농귀촌과에 한하여 관외에 주소를 둔 도시민들에게도 문호를 개방하여 32명 정원 중 외지인 17명이 입학을 하는 소기의 성과를 거두었고, 또한 입학식에 이은 오리엔테이션 시간에는 클린농업대학동문회 음악동아리인 '클린하모니'의 공연으로 신입생과 동문회의 화합의 시간과 입학식을 축제의 장으로 이끌었다고 했다.

농업기술센터 관계자는 “앞으로도 코로나19 방역수칙을 철저히 준수하며 교육을 진행할 예정이며, 가평클린농업대학을 통해 미래성장 산업인 농업을 이끌어 갈 지역인재 배출을 위해 꾸준히 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
