[남상훈 기자 = 홍천군] 지난 14일 홍천군이 '힘차게 도약하는 경제 으뜸고도시 홍천'의 비전 실현을 위해 당초예산을 7,845억원 규모로 최종 확정됐다. 지난달 21일 홍천군의회에 제출한 2023년 당초예산안이 정례회의 심의를 거쳐 확정됐으며 올해 예산 7,468억원 보다 377억원, 5.05% 증액된 금액이라고 밝혔다. 

민선 8기를 실질적으로 출발하는 오는 2023년 당초예산 회계별로는 일반회계 6,923억원, 특별회계 922억원으로 주요 편성사업으로는 -수도권 친환경 명품 배후도시로의 도약을 위한 기본계획 1억원, -도시첨단 산업단지 조성 22억원, -중화항체 면역치료제 개발센터 구축 11억원, -면역항체 치료소재 개발지원센터 구축 45억원, -K-Bio 첨단도시 종합지원센터 구축 29억원, -식품 자가품질 위탁시험 검사기관 구축 19억원 -신규농공단지 조성 40억원 -반값 농자재 지원 150억원, -공공하수관로 설치사업 94억, -공영노외주차장 조성 64억원  등이다.

신영재 홍천군수는 “2023년 당초예산은 인구감소, 저출산·고령화 및 청년인구 유출 등 인구구조 변화에 대응하기 위한 예산과 지역균형 발전, 지역경제 활력 회복, 미래성장과 일자리 증대 등 힘차게 도약하는 경제 으뜸도시 홍천 조기 실현 예산에 중점을 두고 편성하였다”며, “편성된 사업이 차질 없이 추진되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
