[남상훈 기자 = 횡성군] 횡성군은 강원도 공모사업인 2022년 귀농귀촌 유치지원사업 ‘농촌에서 살아보기’ 우수사례 발표회에서 둔내면 산채마을이 도내 최우수상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

우수사례 발표회는 1차 서류심사와 2차 발표심사의 점수를 합산해 종합순위를 가린다. 올해는 최우수 1개소, 우수 1개소, 장려 3개소, 입상 10개소 등 발표 5개소, 시상은 15개소를 선정했으며 지난 22일 세종시 농정원 대회의실에서 개최, 유튜브를 통해 생중계됐다.

횡성군은 ‘농촌에서 살아보기’ 참여자인 류준열씨가 직접 우수사례를 발표했으며 산채마을의 농촌에서 공동경작지, 개인텃밭 등을 통해 ‘파종에서 출하까지’ 직접 참여하는 과정이 우수했다는 평가를 받으며 최우수상을 수상하게 됐다.

한편, '농촌에서 살아보기'는 2022년 귀농귀촌 유치지원사업의 일환으로 지난 1월 강원도청 주관으로 공모를 실시했다. 횡성군은 둔내면 산채마을이 선정됐고 5가구 9명이 지난 4월부터 9월까지 6개월 간의 농촌에서 살아보기 체험을 실시했다.

김명기 군수는 “지역소멸 지역 선정 등 인구 증가가 어느 때 보다 중요성이 부각 되는 시점에서 우리 지역을 대표해 받은 상이라 매우 기쁘다. 앞으로도 다양한 귀농귀촌 정책 개발과 귀농 후 안정적인 정착에 이르기까지 농업·농촌 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
