[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 산림청 한국산림복지진흥원 소속기관인 국립횡성숲체원은 사회적협동조합 그림책도시와 산림문화·그림책 문화 확산을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약을 통해 국립횡성숲체원과 그림책도시는 취약계층 대상 산림문화체험 기회를 확대하고, 그림책 관련 교육·전시 등 상호 교류활동을 통해 그림책 인문학 숲체험 확산에 힘쓸 예정이라고 전했다.

협약 주요내용으로는 '산림문화체험 협력 추진에 관한 사항', '그림책문화 확산을 위한 협력사업 추진', '산림복지 전문 인력 양성을 위한 역량강화 교육 지원', '양 기관의 인적·물적 자원 교류 및 홍보협력' 등이 담겼다고 했다.

국립횡성숲체원 홍성현 원장은 “그림책을 매개로 지역민의 일상과 건강을 위해 힘쓰고 있는 그림책도시와 업무협약을 맺게 되어 기쁘다”면서 “앞으로 양 기관의 지속적인 협력을 통해 그림책을 활용한 다채로운 산림복지서비스 제공을 위해 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.
