[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 지난 7월부터 12주 과정으로 진행한‘2022년 도서관 지혜학교’사업을 지난 22일 수료식을 마지막으로 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국도서관협회가 주관하는 공모사업으로, 전국의 인문대학과 도서관을 연계한 인문심화 프로그램을 제공해 인문학의 사회적 가치 확산을 목표로 추진됐다.

도서관 지혜학교는 강원대학교 전석환 교수를 강사로 초빙해 ‘인간은 진정으로 이성적 존재인가’라는 주제로, 12회에 걸쳐 매주 목요일 저녁 3시간씩 강의와 토론을 병행하여 운영됐다.

또, 매 강의 때 나눈 이야기와 수강생들의 독후감·일기·후기 등을 책으로 엮은 에세이 「지혜학교(동해시립북삼도서관) 철학 강의(2022)」라는 제목의 문집을 만들어 모두에게 선물로 전달하여 훈훈함을 더했다.
