[남상훈 기자 = 홍천] 홍천군이 행정안전부 주관 ‘2022년 지방자치단체 혁신평가’에서 지난 2018년 평가 시작 이후 최초로 우수기관으로 선정되는 쾌거를 달성했다고 밝혔다. 

홍천군은 전년도 ‘보통’에서 ‘우수’ 등급으로 상승함과 동시에 순위도 17계단 상승해 전국 82개 군단위에서 상위 우수기관으로 선정됐다. 

홍천군은 대부분의 지표에서 우수한 평가를 받았으며, 특히 자율혁신 추진과제, 주민참여 활성화, 협업추진 성과, 공공서비스 사각지대 해소, 조직문화 혁신, 타 지자체 지방행정혁신 우수사례 도입 및 확산, 기관 대표 혁신 사례에 대한 국민 체감도 분야에서 우수한 평가를 받았다. 

한편, ‘지방자치단체 혁신평가’는 행정안전부가 지난 1년간의 지자체의 혁신 노력과 성과를 평가해 전국 지방자치단체 243개 중 61개 단체를 우수기관으로 선정한다.

신영재 홍천군수는 “민선8기 소통, 신속한 행정을 완성하기 위해서는 무엇보다 군민이 피부로 체감할 수 있는 행정서비스 개선이 중요하다”며, “이를 목표로 더욱 노력하는 혁신행정을 펼치겠다”고 말했다.
