[김준호 기자=동해시] 동트는 동해대학은 비학위 시민대학으로 1년(2학기) 학사과정으로, 지난 16일 2023년 제2기 동트는 동해대학 입학식을 시작으로 지역사회리더 양성에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

1학기 과정은 3월 23일~6월 16일까지, 2학기 과정은 8월 31일~11월 24일까지 각각 12주간 운영된다.

교육과정은 전공, 교양, 동아리 활동으로 구분되며, 전공과목은 매주 목요일 ‘SDGs-ESG 상생하는 지구촌 공동체’ 등 24강, 교양과목은 매주 금요일 ‘성숙한 나이듦을 위한 전환의 기술’등 24강으로 구성, 교육과 연계한 동아리 활동도 진행된다.

동트는 동해대학은 2023년 평생학습도시 특성화지원-컨소시엄형 공모사업(교육부)에 강원도를 특별하게 만들어줄 자랑스러운 활동가 양성 프로젝트로 선정되어 국비 10백만원을 지원받아 총 42백만원의 사업비로 운영된다.

한편, 제2기 동트는 동해대학 신입생은 오는 21일까지 추가 모집하며, 관심 있는 시민은 평생학습관으로 문의하면 된다.

전춘미 평생교육센터 소장은 “이번 동트는 동해대학이 평생학습을 통해 시민 스스로 지역사회 변화와 발전을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 역량을 키울 것”이라고 기대했다.
