[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 10일 의정부시시설관리공단은 행정안전부에서 주관하는 재해경감 우수기업 인증을 취득했다고 밝혔다.

재해경감 우수기업 인증은 ‘기업재해경감법’ 제7조에 따라 재난 발생 시 기업의 핵심사업과 기능을 조기에 복구하기 위해 재해경감 활동계획을 수립하고, 재해예방‧대비‧대응‧복구 등에 대처하는 실행력을 평가하여 우수한 기업에게 인증서를 발급하는 제도라고 했다.

임해명 이사장은 “코로나19로 인한 사회적 거리두기 등으로 공단 사업장의 고객들이 이용에 불편을 겪었다. 이번 인증을 통하여 코로나19와 같은 전염병 뿐만 아니라 다양한 재해‧재난에도 효율적으로 대처하여 공단 시설을 이용하는 고객들이 안심하고 안전하고 편리하게 이용하도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.   

공단은 안전관리체계 개선을 위하여 지속적으로 노력해왔으며, 2021년 기능연속성계획을 수립하고 시설별 안전관리 매뉴얼 수립 및 매 월 안전관리의 날에 재해 재난 대비 훈련을 실시하고 있다고 밝혔다.
