[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 22일, 양양여성새로일하기센터와 물치어촌계는 직업교육훈련생 취·창업 연계를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

두 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 새일센터에서 실시하고 있는 직업교육훈련생의 취·창업 연계 및 취업 정보를 공유하고 지역사회 일자리 창출을 위한 협력체계를 구축하기로 했으며, 또한 지역 활동가로서 경력단절여성들의 안정적인 취업환경 조성을 위한 방안을 논의했다고 전했다.

물치어촌계는 강원 어촌특화 마을로, 해양수산부 주관 ‘2022년 어촌뉴딜 300 공모사업’에서 최종 선정되어 타 지역과의 차별화된 콘텐츠를 준비 중이며, 특히 특화 마을 사업에 필요한 인력풀은 양양여성새로일하기센터와의 연계협력을 통해 직업교육훈련생을 대상으로 인적 네트워크를 구성하여 추진할 예정이라고 했다.

코로나19 장기화에 따른 일자리 감소 등으로 경력단절여성이 취업에 성공하기 어려운 현실이지만, 지역사회와의 연계협력을 통해 지역자원을 활용한 다양한 일자리 창출이 이루어지고 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대된다고 전했다. 

이순애 새일센터장은 “앞으로 양양군 경력단절여성의 취업지원 서비스 제공을 위해 지역사회 유관기관과 네트워크를 구축해 지속적인 협업 관계를 이어 나갈 계획이다”라고 밝혔다.
