[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일, 동두천시 중앙동 행정복지센터는 무한돌봄센터와 협력하여 복지사각지대 제보 가정에 방문했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 방문은 노인복지관 노인맞춤돌봄사업 담당자가 최근 모니터링을 실시한 결과 돌봄과 안전에 문제가 있는 고령의 독거노인이 있어 방문상담이 필요하다고 제보하여 진행되었다고 했다. 

중앙동행정복지센터는 제보를 받은 후 어르신과의 연락을 시도하였지만 통화가 불가하였고 고위험이 의심되어 곧바로 무한돌봄센터와 방문한 결과 장기요양등급이 있지만 서비스를 이용하지 못하고 있음을 확인하여 돌봄 공백 방지를 위한 조치를 취할 계획이라고 전했다.  

이춘우 중앙동장은 “관내 사회복지기관과 협력을 더욱 강화하여 이번처럼 도움을 받을 수 있는 지지체계가 전혀 없는 위기가정을 발굴하고 지원 가능한 복지자원을 적극 연계하겠다”고 말했다.
