[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일 오전 동두천시 중앙동 행정복지센터와 지역사회보장협의체, 장애인종합복지관이 취약장애인 발굴 및 통합사례관리 제공을 위한 업무협약을 체결하였다고 밝혔다. 

이번 협약은 각 기관 간 긴밀한 민관협력을 통해 중앙동에 거주하는 복지사각지대 장애인가구를 상시적으로 발굴, 맞춤형 복지서비스를 제공하고 공동사례관리를 추진함으로써 지역복지 안전망을 구축하는데 그 목적이 있다고 했다.  

윤대중 장애인복지관장은 “어려움에 놓여 있지만 아무런 혜택을 받지 못하는 위기 장애인을 중앙동과 함께 연중 찾아 나서고, 취약 가정에 지역자원 통합 연계와 활동지원 등의 돌봄 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 전했다.  

이춘우 중앙동장은 이 자리에 계신 경규환 지역사회보장협의체 공동위원장님을 비롯하여 윤대중 장애인종합복지관장님과 함께 아름다운 동행을 이어 나가고, 지속가능한 협력 체계가 구축될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
