[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 25일, 동두천시 무한돌봄센터는 동두천경찰서에 출장하여 복지사각지대 발굴과 관련하여 업무 협의를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

양 기관은 연중 복지사각지대 발굴 및 지원에 대해 상호간 유기적 관계를 토대로 노력하기로 협의하였으며 경찰서에서 생계형 범죄자 및 범죄피해자 등 위기사유가 있어 보이는 대상자를 무한돌봄센터에 의뢰하면 면밀한 상담을 실시하여 긴급지원, 통합사례관리 및 민간서비스 지원 등 맞춤형 복지서비스를 제공할 계획이라고 했다.

무한돌봄센터 관계자는 “경찰서와의 협업을 통해 코로나19의 여파로 발생한 취약계층의 어려움을 살피고 복지사각지대 대상자의 위기사유를 해소하는데 앞장서도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
