[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 원숭이두창에 대한 감염병 위기경보 단계가 지난 22일 ‘주의’로 격상됨에 따라 ‘원숭이 두창 대응 비상방역대책반’을 운영 한다고 29일 밝혔다. 

비상방역대책반의 주요업무는 의심사례 신고 건에 대한 모니터링, 역학조사와 진단검사 의뢰, 확진환자 격리입원조치 및 접촉자 관리 등이다. 

보건소장을 방역관, 감염병관리팀장 및 감염병 대응팀장을 담당관으로 하여 상황총괄 아래 ▶역학조사팀 ▶진단검사팀 ▶환자관리팀 ▶콜센터팀 등으로 구성된다. 

원숭이 두창은 감염되면 5~21일간의 잠복기를 거쳐 38도 이상의 급성발열, 두통, 림프 부종, 근육통, 요통, 무기력증 등의 증상이 발생하며, 머리에서 발진이 시작되어 전신 팔다리로 확산된다. 

전파경로는 인수공통감염병으로 동물->사람, 사람->사람, 감염된 환경->사람으로 전파된다.

보건소 관계자는 "원숭이 두창 예방 및 행동수칙으로 일반적인 감염병 예방수칙을 준수하며 원숭이두창 발생지역 방문 후 귀국 후 21일간 위와 같은 의심 증상 발현 시, 사람 및 동물과의 접촉을 피하고, 빠른 시일 내 질병청 콜센터 ☎1339로 먼저 상담 문의 해 줄 것"을 당부했다.
