[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 10일부터 오는 23일까지 속초시는 청년의 자발적인 협의체인 ‘속초 청년정책네트워크’ 제2기 회원 30여 명을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

속초 청년정책네트워크는 작년에 처음 시작한 청년 참여 소통기구로, 청년이 정책의 주체로 활동하게 되며, 활동 내용은 정책에 대한 의견 제시, 청년 문제·고민 해결을 위한 정책제안, 정책 모니터링 등으로, 2021년도에는 33명의 회원이 토론회, 워크숍, 청년주간행사, 성과공유회, 비대면 분과회의 등 총 30여회의 참여 활동을 가졌고, 청년을 위한 자발적 참여형 종합축제도 개최하여 청년정책 기반구축을 위한 붐을 조성하기도 했다고 전했다.

청년정책네트워크 참여대상은 만 18세~39세로 속초시에 거주하거나 생활근거지 ‘직장, 단체 등’를 둔 청년이면 가능하다고 했다.

속초시 청년정책네트워크 회원으로 위촉되면 분야별 ‘일자리, 창업, 문화, 복지, 교육, 참여 소통 등’ 민관협력 체계의 구성원인 청년활동가로서 속초 청년인재 인적자원의 역할을 담당하게 되며, 청년활동가 이외에도 회원 가입을 통하여 지속적인 청년활동가 육성 및 청년정책에 대한 설문참여, 시정 전반에 대한 정보제공 등 혜택을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

속초시 관계자는 “속초시 청년정책네트워크 활동을 통해 다양하고 심층적인 소통을 활성화하여 청년이 행복한 도시를 만들도록 청년정책을 적극 발굴·지원하겠다.”라고 말했다.
