[남상훈 기자 = 원주] 원주지방환경청은 강원도와 충북 북부의 관내 23개 시·군의 대기질 개선을 위한 미세먼지 저감 사업을 통해 국고보조금 434억원을 지원한다고 밝혔다.

미세먼지 저감 사업은 크게 자동차·사업장·생활 주변 부문으로 구분한다. 먼저 자동차는 노후 경유차 조기 폐차 지원 대상을 배출가스 5등급에서 4등급까지 확대하고 전기 굴착기 보급을 위한 지원사업을 신규 편성하는 등 국비 321억원을 지원한다.

또한 사업장은 사물인터넷 측정기기 부착을 포함한 소규모 사업장 방지시설 설치, 중소 대기 배출사업장 연료 전환 지원 등 60억원을 지원한다. 생활 주변은 올해 새롭게 편성된 가스열펌프 배출가스 저감장치 부착 지원 2억원을 포함한 가정용 저녹스 보일러 보급 등에 24억원을 지원한다.
