[남상훈 기자 = 원주] 원주지방환경청이 환경영향평가 협의를 받은 사업장을 대상으로 현장에서 협의내용 이행 상황을 쉽게 확인·관리할 수 있도록 ‘사후관리 체크리스트’를 제작·배포한다고 밝혔다.

사업자는 환경영향평가법에 따라 사업계획 등에 반영된 협의내용을 이행야 하며 관리대장에 그 이행 상황을 기록해 공사현장에 비치하고 관리책임자를 지정·통보해야 하는 의무를 가진다. 그러나 최근 관내 위반사례가 2018년 20건, 2019년 17건, 2020년 16건, 20`21년 21건으로 꾸준히 발생하고 있다.

이에, 원주지방환경청은 작년 소규모 환경영향평가 ‘사후관리 체크리스트’ 배포에 이어 금년에는 도시개발, 산업단지 조성, 도로건설 등 대규모 협의사업장을 대상으로 체크리스트를 제작·배포하게 됐다. 이번 체크리스트는 사업자가 현장에서 환경영향평가 협의내용을 쉽게 이해하고 관리할 수 있도록 리플릿 형태로 제작됐다. 관내 개발사업 인·허가 기관(지자체 등), 환경영향평가 대행업체 등을 통해 3,400부를 배부할 계획이다. 체크리스트는 원주청 누리집에서도 확인 가능하다.
