이번 자동차세 납세의무자는 지난 12월 1일 자동차 등록원부상 소유자이며, 연납 차량이나 연세액 10만원 이하(6월 정기분 일괄부과) 차량은 과세대상에서 제외된다고 했다.

납부방법은 납세자들의 편의를 위해 고지서 없이 통장이나 신용카드만 있으면 전국 모든 은행 CD/ATM기를 이용하여 조회 및 납부할 수 있으며, 위택스, 인터넷 지로납부는 물론, ARS전화 신용카드납부 및 가상계좌로 간편하게 납부 가능하고, 납부기한은 오는 12월 31일까지로 기타 자세한 문의사항은 포천시청 세정과 세정팀으로 문의하면 안내를 받을 수 있다고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “자칫 납부기한을 놓쳐 3%의 가산금과 체납에 따른 자동차 압류 등의 불이익을 받지 않도록 납부기한 내 꼭 납부해 줄 것을 당부드린다.”라고 전했다.
