[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 미세먼지 등 대기오염물질 배출사업장의 노후화된 시설을 교체(개선)하는 소규모 사업장 방지시설 설치 지원사업을 작년에 이어 올해도 추진한다고 밝혔다.

작년에는 관내 도장시설, 보일러시설 12개소의 노후된 방지시설을 교체 지원했으며, 올해에는 총 1억 3천5백만 원의 예산을 편성해 환경 전문공기업인 경기환경에너지진흥원에 위탁해 사업을 추진하며, 지원대상은 '중소기업기본법'시행령 제3조제1항에 따른 중‧소기업 및 '대기환경보전법'시행령 제13조에 따른 4‧5종 사업장이고, 공동주택 또는 업무‧상업용 건축물에 설치된 보일러도 일반 버너에서 저녹스버너로 교체하는 경우 지원된다고 했다.

지역 내 중소기업을 대상으로 사업장별 1대의 방지시설 설치 지원이 원칙이며, 보조금을 지원받는 사업자는 배출시설 가동 시 방지시설 적정 운영을 확인하기 위한 사물인터넷(Iot) 계측기를 부착하고 3년 이상 운영해야 하고, 대기방지시설에 딸린 기계‧기구류를 포함한 노후 대기방지시설의 교체비용을 보조금 지원 한도 내에서 90%까지 지원(자부담 10%)한다고 했다.  

지원을 희망하는 사업장은 신청서를 작성해 경기환경에너지진흥원로 오는 4월 7일까지 우편 또는 방문 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 의정부시 홈페이지 고시/공고문을 통해 확인 가능하며, 관련 문의는 경기환경에너지진흥원 환경기술지원팀으로 하면 된다고 전했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “그동안 경제적 부담으로 노후 방지시설을 교체하지 못했던 소규모 사업장의 적극적인 참여가 대기질 개선과 미세먼지 저감에 큰 힘이 된다”고 밝혔다.
