[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 탄소중립 실현을 위한 전기자동차 보급사업을 지난 2월부터 진행 중이라고 밝혔다.

시는 전기자동차 차종에 따라 승용차의 경우 1대당 최대 1,100만 원을 화물차는 최대 2,100만 원까지 지원하며, 보조금 신청은 관련 자동차 매매계약을 진행 후 자동차 제조·수입사에서 진행한다.

올해 상반기 기준 포천시에서 보조금을 지원한 전기자동차는 승용차 104대, 화물차 146대로 현재 잔여 물량은 승용 47대, 화물 10대이며, 유형별 잔여 물량은 승용 일반유형 7대, 법인·기관 23대, 택시 4대, 우선지원 13대이고, 전기화물차의 경우 중소기업 유형으로만 10대를 지원받을 수 있다고 했다.

시 관계자는 “온실가스 감축과 탄소중립 실현을 위해 일상 속 탄소배출 실천의 중요성이 강조되는 만큼 시민들의 적극적인 참여를 위해 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
