[남상훈 기자 = 원주] 북부지방산림청은 오는 29~30일 예보된 호우에 대비해 산사태 발생이 우려되는 산사태취약지역, 수해복구지, 산림다중이용시설 등에 대해 선제적으로 점검했다고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 산림 인접 민가 피해 우려지, 다중이용시설, 등산로, 수해복구지 등 산사태 발생 우려지역에 대해 긴급 점검을 실시해 배수체계 정비, 응급조치 및 산사태 국민행동요령 홍보을 중점으로 추진했다.

산사태 국민행동요령으로는 기상상황 및 위험상황을 지속 확인하며 산사태 위험 징후 발견(1. 산비탈에서 많은 양을 물이 솟을 때, 2. 바람 없이 나무가 흔들릴 때, 3. 계곡에 흙탕물이 내려올 때, 4. 산비탈에 흙과 돌이 내려올 때)시 신속하게 대피해야 한다. 또한, 산사태 발생 시에는 스마트산림재해앱 또는 중앙산림재난상황실, 소방서, 시·군·구청 및 행정복지센터에 신고해 2차 피해를 예방해야 한다.
