[남상훈 기자 = 의정부시] 17일 10시 김동근 의정부시장은 더불어민주당 의정부시(갑)과의 정책협의회를 통해 지역 주요 현안인 15개 사업에 대한 공유 및 국·도비 예산 확보 방안 등을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

시청 상황실에서 열린 이날 회의에는 오영환 국회의원을 비롯해 의정부시의회 최정희 의장, 이영봉 도의원, 강선영, 정진호 시의원이 자리했다. 김동근 시장은 안동광 부시장을 비롯한 실무담당 국과장들과 함께 참석해 시 현안 사업에 대해 토론했다.

주요 현안 사항은 경원선 등 철도 주변 실태조사 연구용역, CRC 개발 방향 공동 논의, 기업 입지 마련을 위한 ‘관련 지침’ 개정 건의, 반려견 놀이터(반려인 쉼터), 청소년 힐링센터, 바둑경기장과 복합체육센터 규모 조정, 대중교통 체계 개편 및 마을버스 준공영제 추진 계획 및 상황, 경전철 녹양 지선, 회룡IC(국도 3호선(평화로) ~ 서부로 연결), 호원초 등굣길 개선 등 15개 사업이다.
