동두천시 소재 중소기업 중 4~5종 대기배출업소를 우선으로 방지시설 설치 및 개선 비용의 90%를 지원하며 지원받은 사업장은 해당 방지시설을 3년 이상 운영하여야 하며 사물인터넷(IOT) 측정기기를 부착해 관리해야 하고, 이는 노후 대기방지시설 교체 및 개선 시 영세사업장에 설치·교체 비용을 지원함으로써 대기 및 악취 오염도 저감 및 영세사업장 비용 부담 완화를 위한 조치라고 했다.
