[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 노후된 대기오염 방지시설의 개선 및 교체에 따른 비용 지원을 통해 공장 등에서 배출되는 미세먼지 및 대기오염 원인물질(SOX, NOX)을 저감하고자 '소규모 사업장 방지시설 설치지원 사업'을 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.

2022년 소규모 사업장 방지시설 설치지원 사업은 총 4억 6천 8백만 원의 예산으로 대기오염방지시설 설치 및 개선비용의 90%까지를 지원하며, 입자상물질 및 가스상물질 방지시설의 경우 최대 2억7천만 원, 전기집진시설 등은 최대 5억 5천 8백만 원까지 지원받게 된다고 했다.

군 관계자에 따르면, 지난 4월 4일 ~ 4월 7일까지 지원 사업 신청 접수 결과, 총 6개 사업장에서 12개 시설에 대하여 3억 3천 3백만 원의 지원비용을 신청한 상태이며, 잔여 사업비 1억 3천 5백만 원에 대하여는 오는 4월말 경 추가공고를 통해 신청서를 접수 받아 지원할 예정이라고 전했다.  

지원대상은 관내 대기배출시설을 설치·운영 중인 중·소기업으로, 신청을 희망하는 경우 접수기간 내 사업 수행의 대행기관인 (재)경기환경에너지진흥원 환경산업지원본부 환경기술지원팀으로 등기우편이나 방문접수하면 되고, 지원사업에 대한 자세한 내용은 추후 가평군청 및 (재)경기환경에너지진흥원 홈페이지 공고문을 통해 확인할 수 있다고 했다.
