[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 석탄산업역군으로 열악한 채탄환경에서 진폐증을 얻어 어렵게 생활하고 있는 진폐재해자들의 복지수준 향상을 위한 ‘2022년 진폐의증환자 문화생활비 지원사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 강원도비축무연탄관리기금 3억 4,560만원을 투입해 선정대상자 1인 월 12만 원씩 연간 최대 144만원을 분기별로 지원하는 것이라고 했다.

지급대상은 2022년 1월1일 이후 관내에 주민등록 및 사실상 거주가 확인되는 진폐의증환자로 등록된 자이며,  2022년 내 전·출입자는 거주기간에 해당하는 날로 일할 계산 지급되고, 다만 ‘산업재해보상법’에 의한 진폐보상연금 수급자 및 진폐요양환자는 지급에서 제외된다고 전했다.

신청방법은 오는 11일까지 신청서와 주민등록등본 등의 구비서류를 갖춰주소지 관할 동 행정복지센터에 본인이 직접 방문접수 하거나, 부득이한 경우에는 배우자 및 부양 의무자 등 위임받은 자가 접수하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 사회복지과 장애인복지팀으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
