[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 동절기 및 설연휴를 대비, 가스폭발사고와 전기 합선 및 누전으로 인한 화재예방을 위해 오는 2월까지 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
점검대상은 다중이용시설, 사회취약계층시설, 에너지 공급시설 등 23개소이며, 다중이용시설인 전통시장은 한국전기안전공사, 한국가스안전공사와 집중 합동 점검을 실시한다.
주요 점검 사항은 가스통 실내 보관 및 사용 여부, 가스 중간밸브 작동 여부, 보일러 배기통 연결 확인, 누전차단기 설치 여부 및 작동 확인, 전열기기 절연저항 측정, 전선 노후 확인점검 등이다.
점검결과, 사고 발생이 우려되는 시설은 추후 특별안전점검을 실시하며, 위법행위 등 위반사항에 대해서는 현장 지도 및 시정명령, 과태료 부과 등의 행정처분 한다는 방침이다.
