[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군 청평면 23개리 복지이장단과 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 거동이 불편한 취약계층 가구에 방문해 자가진단키트와 후원물품 전달에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

거동이 불편하여 자가진단키트를 방문수령하기 힘든 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 중증장애인 207가구를 대상으로 총 441개의 키트를 방문 전달한다고 전했다.

오미크론 변이 등으로 코로나19 확진사례가 끊이지 않고 있는 가운데, 청평면 복지이장단 및 지역사회보장협의체는 후원물품을 전달하고 외부와 단절되고 복지사각지대에 놓인 취약계층의 안부를 확인하는 한편 자가진단키트를 배부하여 방역공백을 메꾸고 감염으로부터 취약계층을 보호하기 위해 힘쓰고 있으며, 또한 전달만으로 끝나는 것이 아니라 기존 설명서만으로 사용법을 이해하고 결과를 확인하는데 어려움을 겪는 노인, 장애인 등을 대상으로 이장단과 협의체 위원들이 직접 올바른 사용법을 설명하여 취약계층의 감염자를 조기에 발견하고 치료를 받을 수 있도록 하여 방역체계에 실효성을 높이고 있다고 했다.
