[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시가 성공적인 귀농·귀촌 정착을 유도하기 위해  미로정원마을에서 거주하면서 영농체험 및 주민들과 교류를 진행하는 농촌에서 살아보기 참가자 모집에 나섰다.

미로정원마을은 삼척시 미로면 동안로 540에 위치해 있으며, 2020년에 농촌체험휴양마을로 지정되었다. 지역대표작목으로는 콩, 감자, 옥수수 등이 있으며, 미로정원 내에서 두부를 만드는 체험도 가능하다.

시는, 오는 4월 9일까지 5가구(10명)를 모집해 임시 주거 및 연수프로그램을 지원할 계획이다.

참가자로 최종 선정되면 오는 4월 15일~11월 30일까지 기간 중 3~6개월간 미로정원마을에서 농촌 생활을 경험하게 되며, 참가 신청은 4월 9일까지 귀농귀촌종합센터 누리집을 통해 온라인으로 접수하면 된다.

최준수 미래농업과장은 “이번 ‘농촌에서 살아보기’ 체험을 통해 농촌 생활을 이해하고 농촌에 안정적으로 정착하는데 도움이 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
