이번 방문은 코로나 4단계 사회적 거리두기 연장에 따라 대면 방문을 자제하여, 48가구에는 택배로, 2가구에는 방문으로 전달됐다고 전했다.

이범주 설악면장은 “코로나19 장기화로 가족들과 만나기도 어렵고 이동도 불편한 어르신들에게, 매 명절마다 직접 찾아와서 꾸준히 이웃사랑을 실천하시는 한국전력 경기북부본부에 깊이 감사를 드린다”고 하였다. 한전 경기북부본부 이도영 전력지부위원장은 “코로나로 인해 지역경제가 침체되어 모두가 힘들어 할 때, 공기업이 적극적으로 사회봉사를 실천하여 이 상황을 지혜롭게 이겨내고 마스크를 벗을 수 있는 때가 오기를 고대한다”고 화답했다.
