[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 추석 명절을 맞이하여 관내 저소득층과 사회복지시설에 추석 명절 위문을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

위문대상은 기초생계급여자 5,783세대, 저소득 진폐재해자 100세대 등 총 5,883세대와 사회복지시설 51개소로, 취약계층인 수혜자가 직접 필요한 생필품을 구입할 수 있도록 상품권이나 현금으로 지원한다.

이는 강원사회복지공동모금회 명절 위문 사업비와 시 자체 예산, 희망강릉 365 기탁금 중 일부 및 강릉시청 공무원 1대1 자매결연을 통한 후원금으로 이뤄진다.

또한, 간부 공무원들이 방역수칙 준수하에 『1촌도시 복지강릉』 나눔의 정을 솔선수범하여 사회복지시설 위문을 실시 할 예정으로, 방문 시 개별 안부·안전 확인, 연휴기간 내 안전사고 예방 및 개인 방역수칙 준수 등을 안내할 예정이다.
