[김준호 기자 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 자주재원 확충을 위해 강도 높은 세외수입 체납징수 활동에 본격 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

최근 3년간 이월체납액은 세외수입 징수, 체납처분 등의 지속적인 노력으로 감소하고 있는 추세로, 올해 이월체납액 정리 목표 조기달성 및 징수율 제고로 자주재원을 확충해 나선다는 방침이다.

올해 이월체납의 40%인 약 707백만원을 정리목표액으로 정하여 상반기 내 목표액의 50% 이상 달성하고 체납액의 76%(1,344백만원)를 차지하고 있는 자동차 관련 체납액에 대하여는 교통과와 협업으로 집중 징수할 계획이다.

체납액 납부독려 및 징수, 체납처분 등을 통해 올해 이월체납액 25%인 442백만원을 징수하여 지방재정 확충에 기여하고 무재산, 사망 등으로 사실상 징수가 불가능한 체납액은 과감한 정리보류 처분으로 체납액을 축소해 나갈 예정이다.

이와 함께, 자동차 관련 과태료 체납차량에 대한 번호판 영치, 100만원 이상 체납자 압류 부동산 및 자동차 공매 추진, 징수목표 미달부서에 대한 지방세입 징수대책 보고회 개최, 세외수입에 대한 징수촉탁제 시행, 총 체납액 300만원 이상 고액·상습 체납자를 대상으로 방문 상담 및 관허사업 제한, 대금지급 정지, 체납자 명단 공개 등 행정 제재를 비롯하여,
