기초생활수급자 및 차상위계층, 복지 사각지대, 외로움 계층 등 취약계층 1,030가구에 생필품 세트 등 후원 물품을 전달하고, 독거노인 1,533가구에는 김 세트를 전달하며, 노인 및 장애인, 아동복지시설 26개소에는 입소 현원별 차등 금액을 충전한 횡성사랑카드를 지원하고, 관내 기초생계급여수급자 434가구에 가구당 현금 5만원씩 지원하며, 횡성군청 실과소 및 읍·면 행정복지센터에서도 자체 위문계획을 마련하여 훈훈한 정을 나눌 예정이라고 했다.
