[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 심규언 동해시장은 오는11월 16일까지 동해시의 새로운 변화와 미래세대를 위한 핵심정책과 신성장동력 확보를 위한 전국민 대상 아이디어 공모전을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모전은 동해시가 그동안 추진해온 5대 권역별 특화관광지 개발사업의 성과를 바탕으로, 향후 동해시 만의 차별화된 정책 발굴과 신성장동력 확보를 위해 추진하는 것이다.

공모내용은 ▶북방경제 산업물류 활성화 ▶동해시 여건에 적합한 첨단산업(4차산업) ▶국제관광 휴양도시 조성 ▶그 외 동해시 발전을 위한 참신하고 혁신적인 아이디어 등이다. 

아이디어 공모전 참여방법은 국민신문고(국민제안)와 이메일, 방문 또는 우편 접수 등으로 참가 가능하며, 접수된 제안은 창의성, 경제성․능률성, 계속성, 적용범위, 노력도 등을 기준으로 실무부서 중심의 1차 심의를 통과한 안에 대해 2차 제안심사위원회의 심사에서 최종 우수 제안을 선정하게 된다. 

우수제안은 등급에 따라 ▶금상 1명(500만원) ▶은상 2명(각200만원) ▶동상 3명(각100만원) ▶장려상 4명(각50만원) 등 총 1,400만원의 상금과 상장을  수여하게 되며, 우수제안 선정 결과는 12월 중 동해시 홈페이지 게재와 함께 제안자에게도 개별로 통보할 계획이다.

박종을 미래전략담당관은 “이번 아이디어 공모는 동해시의 새로운 도약을 위한 미래전략사업 발굴 육성에 전 국민이 직접 참여할 수 있는 기회인 만큼, 혁신적인 아이디어가 많이 제출되어 동해시 발전에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
