[김준호 기자=정선군] 정선군(군수 최승준)은 군민들의 소중한 건강과 청정자연을 지키기 위해 고농도 미세먼지 및 환경오염 물질 배출시설에 대한 특별 지도·점검을 실시한다.

이번 특별 점검은, 특별점검반을 편성해 오는 3월 31일까지 환경오염물질 배출시설에 대한 관리 감독과 해빙에 따른 오염물질 불법 배출행위가 우려됨에 따라 환경오염 행위 예방을 위해 특별단속에 나서고 있다.

중점 점검대상은 석회제품 관련 사업장을 중심으로 대기폐수 배출 및 방지시설 정상가동 여부, 비산먼지 발생사업장 억제조치 이행사항 확인, 축사 주변 및 농경지 등에 가축분뇨 야적·방치 및 공공수역 유출 여부, 환경법에 대한 전반적 조치사항 확인 등이다. 

또한, 미세먼지 불법 배출로 인한 군민들의 피해 예방을 위해 1월부터 12월까지 9개 읍·면을 6개 권역으로 나누어 미세먼지 배출원에 대한 철저한 감시와 상시 순찰은 물론 미세먼지 저감 홍보활동을 수행하는 미세먼지 불법배출 감시원을 운영하고 있다.

이덕종 환경과장은 "특별 점검기간 시설개선 등이 필요한 사업장에 대해서는 시설개선에 대한 안내 등 행정지도를 병행해 나가는 것은 물론 관련 규정을 위반하여 중대한 오염행위에 대해서는 강력한 행정조치를 이행할 계획이다."고 말했다.
