[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시는 지역공동체 내 민주적 합의 과정을 이끌어내는 소통전문가를 육성하기 위한 퍼실리테이터 양성과정에 참여할 1기 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

퍼실리테이터는 회의, 워크숍, 심포지엄 등을 진행하며 그룹의 구성원들이 합의에 도달하거나 문제해결 방안을 도출할 수 있도록 효과적인 의사결정 과정을 이끌어내는 소통전문가를 의미하며, 이번 과정은 주민자치위원회, 마을공동체 등에서 활동 중인 지역활동가를 비롯해 향후 퍼실리테이터로서의 활동을 희망하는 시민 등 성인 누구나 참여할 수 있다고 했다.

교육은 오는 3월 24일부터 4월 21일까지 옥정서부평생학습센터에서 매주 목요일 오후 1시부터 5시까지 총 5회, 20시간에 걸쳐 진행되며, 주요 교육내용은 퍼실리테이션 개념, 퍼실리테이터의 역할, 퍼실리테이션의 기본 도구, 회의 설계, 아이디어 도출·수렴 방법, 의사결정의 보완기법, 커뮤니케이션 노하우 등이라고 전했다.
