[김준호 기자=정선군] 아라리가족성상담소(소장 김영아)는 7일 세계 여성의 날을 기념하여 정선아리랑시장 일원에서 여성폭력추방 및 양성평등 캠페인을 전개했다.

세계 여성의 날은 우리나라에서는 2018년 법정기념일로 공식지정되어 관련 단체들이 다양한 행사들을 진행하고 있다. 

김영아 아라리가족성상담소장은 "아직도 우리 주변에는 여성을 대상으로 하는 폭력사건이 끊이지 않고 있다며, 여성폭력추방과 양성평등 실현을 앞당길 수 있록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다."고 말했다. 

한편, 아라리가족성상담소는 관내 학교 및 공공기관, 업체 직원들을 대상으로 폭력예방 교육을 실시하고 있다.
