[김준호 기자=정선군] 정선군이 실시하는 농번기 마을공공급식 지원사업이 농업인들로부터 큰 호응을 얻어 사업을 대폭 확대한다고 밝혔다.

군에 따르면, 여성농업인들의 가사 부담을 줄이고 농촌일손 부족을 해소하고 마을공동체 활성화를 위해 2019년부터시작해 올해 5년차 농번기 마을공동급식을 지원하고 있다.

이어, 지난해 마을공동급식지원을 기존 500만원에서 700만원으로 마을공동급식 지원비율을 확대한다.

또한, 올해 마을공동급식지원 37개 마을 희망마을 신청받아 25개 마을을 선정할 예정이며, 마을 대표들이 참석한 가운데 마을공동급식 사업추진 전반에 대한 설명과 함께 공동급식시설 운영관리 및 식품위생 안전관리 등에 대한 교육을 실시할 계획이다.

사업에 선정된 각 마을에서는 전열기구 및 조리시설, 화재예방과 초기진화를 위한 화재경보기, 소화기 비치, 공동급식시설 주변 환경 청결 및 안전관리 등 공동급식시설 운영 및 관리를 맡는다.

한편, 군에서는 보건소와 협력해 식자재 안전보관 및 식중독예방,위생관리는 물론 조리원에 대한 위생교육을 지속적으로 실시한다.

마을공동급식 지원사업은 조리원 인건비와 부식비 일부를 연간 70일 범위 내에서 700만원까지 총 175백만원을 지원하며, 사업의 효과에 따라 연차적으로 확대해 나간다는 방침이다.
