[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 14일 동두천시 생연2동은 중앙동에 소재한 황주생고기에서 관내 저소득 취약계층 가구에게 전달해 달라며 사랑의 백미 10kg 10포를 기부했다고 밝혔다.

생연2동 주민자치위원회 위원으로 활동하고 있는 정윤미 대표는 다양한 봉사활동에 참여하고 있으며, 매년 명절마다 백미를 기부하여 취약계층 이웃을 위한 따뜻한 나눔을 지속하고 있다고 했다.

정윤미 대표는 “매서운 추위 속에 어려운 상황을 보내고 있을 우리 이웃들이 따뜻한 명절을 보내는 데 작게나마 보탬이 됐으면 하는 마음에서 준비했다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
