[김준호 기자=정선군] 정선군(군수 최승준)은 봄철 가뭄이 지속되는 가운데, 대형·동시다발 산불에 신속 대응하는 협력체계 마련을 위해 10일 군청 대회의실에서 2023년 정선군 산불방지 협의회를 개최했다.

협의회에는 정선군을 비롯해 정선국유림관리소, 정선소방서, 정선경찰서, 한국전력공사 정선지사, 정선군의용소방대연합회, 전국이통장연합중앙회 정선군지회 등 13개 기관·단체에서 30여 명이 참석했다. 

원홍식 정선부군수 주재로 열린 이날 협의회에서는 정선군 산불방지 종합대책에 대하여 공유하고 기관 및 단체별 산불대응 체계와 상호간 협력방안에 대하여 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

또한 봄철을 맞아 건조한 날씨가 지속되어 곳곳에서 산불이 발생하고 있는 시점에서 긴밀한 공조체제를 구축하고 범 군민적 산불예방 공감대 형성에 다같이 노력해 나가기로 했다. 

정선군은 현재 산불감시원 90명을 배치하여 감시체계 확보 및 신속한 산불대응체계를 확립하고 있으며, 4월 중 어르신 산불감시단 50명을 배치하여 대형산불 특별대책기간 운영에 따른 감시활동 체계를 극대화 할 예정이다.

또한, 산불진화대 76명, 산불진화차 11대, 임차헬기 1대를 배치하여 산불발생 시 즉각적인 대처와 피해 최소화를 위해 노력하고 있다.

원홍식 정선부군수는 3월부터 5월 사이에 많은 산불이 발생하는 만큼 불법소각(농산부산물, 쓰레기 등) 및 화목보일러 재처리, 담뱃불 등 불씨를 철저히 관리하여 산불이 발생하지 않도록 많은 관심과 협조를 당부했다.
