[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시보건소는 지난 5일, 어린이집, 초·중·고등학교 교사 및 산업체안전관리 담당자를 대상으로 위급상황 발생시 빠른 대처를 할 수 있게 '제1차 구조 및 응급처치 교육'을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 응급의료에 관한 법률 제14조에 근거한 심폐소생술교육 법정의무대상자 ▷어린이집 ▷초·중·고등학교 교사 ▷산업체안전관리 담당자를 대상으로, 이론교육 2시간과 실습교육 2시간 과정으로 경기도의료원 파주병원에서 진행했다. 

심폐소생술 교육은 위급상황 발생시 급성심정지 환자의 생명을 살릴 수 있는 방법을 알려주는 교육으로, 교육을 받은 자는 누구든지 위급상황시 이를 활용하여 소중한 생명을 구할 수 있다. 

보건소 관계자는 “올해 심폐소생술 교육은 의무교육대상 총 4회에 걸쳐 실시할 예정”이라면서 “교육을 희망하는 자는 누구나 신청이 가능하며 기타 궁금한 사항은 의약관리팀으로 연락하면 된다”고 밝혔다.
