[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 오는 8월 16일까지, 실내공기질 관리법상 법정규모에 속하지 않는 노인시설 등의 다중이용시설을 대상으로 시민의 건강 보호를 위해 실내공기 무료측정을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

측정대상은 노인요양시설, 경로당, 어린이집, 장애인시설 등 110개소로 측정대행업체가 현장 방문하여 (초)미세먼지, 이산화탄소 등 실내공기질 유지기준 5개 항목을 측정한다고 했다.

시는 실내공기질 측정 후 바로 소유주 등에게 측정 결과와 환기, 바닥 물청소 등 실내공기 관리요령을 안내하고 1차 기준 초과 시설에 대해 재방문 및 재측정을 통해 집중관리하는 등 사후관리도 진행할 계획이라고 전했다. 

시 관계자는 “전년도 기준 초과시설에 대해서는 당해년도에 실내공기질을 재측정하는 등 지속적인 실내공기질 관리로 다중이용시설을 이용하는 시민의 건강 보호뿐만 아니라 소유주 등의 자발적인 실내환경 개선을 유도하여 깨끗한 실내공기 속에서 시민이 이용할 수 있도록 노력을 기울이겠다”고 밝혔다.
