[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평교육지원청은 2021년부터 2025년까지 진행되는 경기도교육청 주관 ‘가평군 그린스마트 미래학교 추진’을 위한 사업계획서를 공표했다.

경기도교육청은 40년 이상 노후 학교시설을 개축 또는 리모델링을 통해 미래형 교육과정 실현이 가능한 미래학교로 탈바꿈 하기 위해 해당 사업을 추진했다.

그린스마트 미래학교의 추진 배경은 ▲미래사회를 선도할 인재 양성과 교육 혁신의 중요성 부각, ▲미래형 교육과정 운영을 위한 새로운 학교 모델 필요, ▲경기미래교육 정책과 연계한 다양한 경기미래학교 구축 필요 등이다.

가평군에 대한 그린스마트 미래학교 사업의 총 면적과 사업비는 연면적 30,507㎡, 사업비 67,669백만원을 책정했으며, 추후 대상교 확정 및 사전기획용역 등에 따라 변동 될 수 있다.

가평교육지원청은 ▲2021년 조종고(개축), 가평고(리모델링), ▲2022년 가평초(리모델링), 설악중(개축), ▲2023년 율길초(미정), ▲2024년 상색초(미정), 청평중(미정), ▲2025년 청평초(미정), 대성초(미정)로 추진 할 계획이다.

4월 기준 조종고와 가평고는 작년에 사전기획용역과 공공건축심의를 완료했으며, 올해 설계공모가 의뢰 예정이다. 또한, 현재 설악중과 가평초는 사전기획용역을 추진 중이다.
