[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군보건소는 지난 3월부터 5월까지 관내 어린이집 13개소 6~7세 어린이 305명을 대상으로 손씻기 교육과 야외활동 시 주의해야할 진드기 매개 감염병 교육을 실시했다고 1일 밝혔다.

교육은 수인성 및 식품매개 감염병 예방을 위해 익숙하지만 중요한 손씻기 6단계로 실시하며 손소독제를 이용해 참여를 유도했다. 

또한, 진드기 매개 감염병 예방을 위해 시각적 자료를 활용한 예방수칙으로 실시하고 퀴즈를 통한 복습으로 장기기억화가 될 수 있도록 도왔다.

교육이후 어린이집 교사를 대상으로 실시한 만족도 설문조사 결과 85% 이상이 만족했으며, 아이들 습관 형성에 도움이 될 것이라는 응답이 90% 넘게 나왔다.

교사들은 “이번 교육이 아이들 실생활에도 유용하게 기억하고 지킬 수 있을 것 같다”는 반응을 보였다.  

가평군 관계자는 “오늘의 경험이 내일의 성장으로 나아가는 한걸음이 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 군민 건강을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
