[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군에서는 오는 6월부터 푸드플랜을 통해 생산한 지역먹거리를 관내 꽃동네, 노인복지관, 장애인복지관, 어린이집 등 단체급식소에 공급 할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

가평군은 지역생산 농산물이 관내에서 우선 소비되는 선순환 체계를 구축하여 농가에게는 안정적인 소득을 보장하고, 군민에게는 안전하고 건강한 먹거리를 공급함과 동시에 지역경제를 활성화하고자 '먹거리 종합계획'을 추진 중에 있다고 전했다.

현재 푸드플랜 생산 농산물은 감자, 무, 양파, 양배추, 시금치, 얼갈이, 열무, 쪽파, 실파, 표고, 느타리 등이며, 관내 소비처의 수요에 맞춰 생산품목을 점차 확대해 나가고 있다고 했다.

군에서는 푸드플랜 참여농가의 농업생산비를 절감하고 농산물의 안정적인 생산을 도모하기 위하여 육묘(종자), 포장재 지원 등 각종 사업을 추진하고 있다.

농가조직화를 통한 농산물 기획생산체계 구축이 최우선적으로 해결해야 할 과제라고 밝혔다.
