[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 10월 10일부터 11월 30일까지 관내 어린이집 및 유치원에 뷰박스를 무상대여하여 손 씻기 중요성에 대해 적극 홍보한다고 밝혔다.

뷰박스는 손세정제 검안기로 형광로션을 손에 바르고 뷰박스 스크린에 손을 넣으면 형광물질이 하얗게 보여 손 씻기 전과 후 제거 상태를 비교할 수 있는 장비다.

뷰박스 대여 기간은 최대 4일로, 대여를 원하는 기관은 9월 28일부터 10월 5일까지 동해시보건소 감염병예방팀으로 신청서를 제출하면 된다.

최기순 예방관리과장은 “올바른 손 씻기가 감염병의 절반을 예방할 수 있다고 알려진 만큼 뷰박스 체험을 통해 올바른 손 씻기의 중요성을 깨닫고 실천할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
