[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 관내 어린이집 보육교직원 862명을 대상으로 응급처치 및 심폐소생술 실습교육을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 보육교직원 안전교육은 강릉시육아종합지원센터를 통해 오는 5월 13일까지 실시되며, 지난해 제정된 '어린이안전관리에 관한 법률'에 따라 어린이이용시설 종사자는 응급처치 실습 등을 포함한 안전교육을 매년 4시간 이상 이수해야 하고, 강릉시 장난감도서관에서 실시되는 이번 교육에는 강릉시소방서와 강릉시의용소방대 전문강사가 초빙돼 어린이에게 발생하는 응급상황 행동요령 및 응급처치 실습교육이 이루어진다고 전했다.
김복희 아동보육과장은 “응급처치 및 심폐소생술 실습교육을 통해 보육교직원의 안전의식과 역량을 강화하고자 한다”며“어린이집 응급상황 발생시 신속게 대처할 수 있는 능력을 키워 안전한 보육환경을 조성할수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
