[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시의회는 9일, 집중호우로 인해 비상근무체제를 유지하고 있는 포천시 재난안전대책본부 상황실을 방문했다고 전했다.

이날 방문은 서과석 의장과 손세화 의원, 조진숙 의원을 비롯한 의회사무과 관계자 등이 함께했으며, 포천시의 현재 기상상황과 주요 피해 사항 및 대응 상황을 보고 받고 의견을 나누는 시간을 가진 뒤 상황실 관계자들을 격려했다.

서과석 의장은 “휴가철임에도 불구하고 집중호우 비상근무로 고생하는 직원들의 노고에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “호우에 대한 철저한 대비 및 선제적 피해 예방조치를 실시하여 시민들의 피해가 최소화 될 수 있도록 총력을 기울여달라”고 당부했다.

또한, 포천시의회 의원들은 “집중호우로 인해 포천에 인명피해 및 큰 피해는 없어 다행이다“며 ”인력부족으로 피해 조치가 늦어지는 일이 없도록, 지역 봉사단체와 협조하는 방법 등을 강구하여 신속한 현장 대응 체계를 갖춰 집중호우에 철저한 대처를 해주기를 부탁드린다“고 말했다.
