[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 4일 최용덕 동두천시장은 동두천시 국민체육센터 인근에 위치한 무형문화재 공동창고 시설개선 사업 확인을 위해 현장을 답사했다고 밝혔다.

동두천시 무형문화재 3개 단체의 전승활동 지원을 위해 동두천시 무형문화재 공동창고가 지난해 완공됐고, 시설개선 사업은 칸 분리 공간 확보, 행사 시 전략 구상을 위한 회의실 구축, 냉·난방기 설치 등이 있다고 했다.

최용덕 시장은 이날 현장방문을 통해 무형문화재 단체 회원들을 격려하며 “이번 시설 보강 사업으로 무형문화재 단체가 조금 더 화합하고 전승활동에 집중할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
