[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 6.1지방선거 결과 가평군수로 국민의힘 서태원 후보가 당선됐다. 서 당선인은 약 52.3%인 16,975명의 지지를 받았다. 

 

가평군민들이 과반이상 서 당선인을 지지한 것은 그동안 낙후돼 있던 가평군의 발전을 위한 군정을 펼쳐달라는 이유에서다. 선거 과정에서 발생한 여러 가지 잡음은 뒤로 한 채 오로지 군민들만 바라보고 나가길 원하고 있다. 

 

특히, 선거 막판 불거졌던 모 언론사 대표와의 녹취록 등에서 밝혀진 ‘비선’, 일종의 숨은 실세들은 과감하게 물리치고 예측 가능한 군정을 펼쳐주길 기대하고 있다. 

 

서태원 당선인이 앞으로 가평군을 위해 할 일들이 많이 남아있다. 먼저 올바른 군정을 위해서는 올바른 인사가 기본이 되어야 한다.
