[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 내달 12일까지, 청소년을 대상으로 ‘청소년이 원하는 포천’을 만들어가는 청소년 참여활동 활성화 프로그램 참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

시는 ‘청소년도 참여하는 시민입니다(이하 청참시)’라는 주제로 포천시 청소년정책에 대한 다양한 의견을 수렴하기 위해 아이디어공모전과 정책 및 조례교육, 선거교육 등 청소년에게 시민으로서의 교육 기회를 제공하고, 청소년들이 민주시민 사회의 일원으로 청소년 정책을 직접 발굴한다.

또한 포천교육지원청과 유관기관이 협력해 청소년 명예기관장을 선출하고, 청소년 정책제안이 실제로 이어질 수 있도록 청소년 참여예산제를 도입해 청소년이 주체적으로 참여 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

참가 청소년에게는 활동에 따라 참가 교통비 지급 및 봉사활동 확인서 발급, 우수활동 표창장 등이 수여된다.

모집 대상은 관내 12세~19세 청소년으로, 참가를 희망하는 청소년은 포천시청소년교육문화센터 홈페이지 또는 카카오톡 플러스친구 ‘포천청소년교육문화센터&청소년문화의집’에서 확인하면 된다.
